CGS came about in 1995 with the foundation of Astratec. There were offshoots from the company and the new business led to the formation of new companies. CGS became the holding in 2003 and since that time it has assumed its strategic support role, bringing together transversal skills. CGS is not a family group, but together we form a family. We have permanent staff who have been with us for over fifteen years, many more for more than 10 years, all with their own objectives and in this way we are working towards the development of our project.

CGS is currently undergoing a very important stage, firstly, to get through the situation that the portuguese economy and market are experiencing but also – and always with a medium and long-term vision - CGS is expanding its business with new initiatives and into new markets.
